By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Milestold allows you to upload outdoor activities (from FIT files or Strava), add photos and descriptions, and publish them as a public blog. The service includes interactive maps, performance data visualization, and gear tracking.
You sign in using Google OAuth or Strava OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your linked accounts. You must provide accurate information and must not create accounts for fraudulent purposes.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload (photos, descriptions, activity data). By publishing content, you grant Milestold a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and make your content accessible on the platform as part of the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish. You must not upload content that:
When you publish a ride, photo, or gear item, it becomes publicly accessible on the internet. You can unpublish content at any time through your dashboard. You control what is public through the publish/unpublish functionality.
Milestold integrates with third-party services. By using these integrations, you also agree to their respective terms:
Milestold is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at [email protected]. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.
Upon account deletion, all your data (activities, photos, settings) will be permanently removed from our servers.
Our liability is limited in accordance with German law (§§ 7-10 TMG). We are liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages and only in cases of breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations).
We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content, including activity data, routes, and photos.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
